Team Grants

To encourage participation in the New Jersey Envirothon and help defray the costs of registration, some NJ Conservation Districts offer grants to schools located in the counties they serve. Your team may apply for a grant only after you have registered for the NJ Envirothon. If you have not registered for this year's competition yet, please click here to visit our registration page...

Your team must complete the NJ Envirothon on Saturday, May 17, 2025 to be awarded a grant.

Burlington County Soil Conservation District NEW

To encourage schools in Burlington County to participate in the New Jersey Envirothon, the Burlington County Soil Conservation District will provide five (5) $100.00 grants to teams participating in this year’s event to reimburse the expense of team registration.
  • The first five teams to register for the 2025 NJ Envirothon will be eligible for a Team Grant to cover registration fees.
  • There is a limit of one grant recipient per school.
  • Teams may apply for a grant only after they have registered for the 2025 NJ Envirothon.
  • To be awarded this grant, the team must complete the NJ Envirothon competition on May 17, 2025.

Camden County Soil Conservation District NEW

​​The Camden County Soil Conservation District is offering two (2) $100 grants to schools in Camden County who register and compete in the 2025 NJ Envirothon.
  • The first two (2) schools to register for the competition will be eligible for a grant.
  • There is a limit of one grant per school.
  • Schools may apply for a grant only after they have registered for the 2025 NJ Envirothon.
  • To be awarded a grant, your team must complete the NJ Envirothon on May 17, 2025.

Cape-Atlantic Soil Conservation District NEW

The Cape Atlantic Conservation District is offering five (5) $100 grants to help schools in Atlantic and Cape May Counties.
  • The first five (5) teams to register for the NJ Envirothon will be eligible for a grant.
  • Teams may apply for a grant only after they have registered for the 2025 NJ Envirothon.
  • To be awarded a grant, your team must complete the NJ Envirothon on May 17, 2025.

To encourage schools in Middlesex and Monmouth County to participate in the New Jersey Envirothon, the Freehold Soil Conservation District will provide two (2) $100.00 grants to new schools (have not participated in a previous Envirothon) to reimburse the expense of team registration.
  • The first two (2) new school teams to register for the NJ Envirothon will be eligible for a grant.
  • There is a limit of one grant per school.
  • Schools may apply for a grant only after they have registered for the 2025 NJ Envirothon.
  • To be awarded a grant, your team must complete the NJ Envirothon on May 17, 2025.

To help Morris County Schools defray the costs of participating in the NJ Envirothon, the Morris County Soil Conservation District is offering three (3) $100.00 grants to Morris County Envirothon teams.
  • The first three (3) new teams to register for the competition will be eligible for the grant.
  • You may apply for the grant only after you have registered for the 2025 NJ Envirothon.
  • To be awarded the grant, your team must compete in the NJ Envirothon competition on May 17, 2025.
