"Water Resource Management: Local Control and Local Solutions"
We are excited to announce the New Jersey Envirothon will be held once again. The event will be virtual this year rather than in-person and will be split into two major parts:
Station testing consisting of both written and “hands-on” questions will be held on Saturday, May 22nd. Select teams with the most points will move on to the oral Team Presentation component two weeks later on Saturday, June 5th.
We are planning on a virtual Training Session in early May.
The Envirothon has always been a “team” competition and this year’s event will carry on that tradition. Teams will compete for scholarships and prizes just as they would at the in-person event.
We are grateful for this opportunity to continue the mission of the Envirothon and promote environmental literacy. The virtual competition will allow students to utilize technology as they work through the station resources together as a team and compete online. It may not be the outdoor experience we treasure each year, but we are committed to making the 2021 virtual Envirothon a worthwhile experience for all involved.
